Hello! Welcome to my first blog post!
In this post, I will be reviewing the popular game from the App Store: Tiny Wings. Tiny Wings is a great game you can play for hours (believe me, I've tried!) and not get tired of it. It has many islands (or levels, as we would call it) that you have to complete to get the best stats. There are 5 categories under "Stats" in the game which are... Longest Fever (how long you stay in bonus-type mode), Greatest Slides (how many slides you get in before time runs out), Cloud Touches (how many slides you do when you touch the clouds), Coins Eaten (how many coins you collect) and finally, Distance (how far you get before time runs out).
The developer, Andreas Illiger made it look great on the new iPhone 4 retina screen. The music is great and fits in perfectly with the game so you won't just be sitting there playing this awesome game without background music.
Although Tiny Wings has lots of good things to it, it has a few things that I personally think there should be worked on. First, I think there should be a way to customize your bird so you don't have to be stuck with one of the same color the whole time. Customizable levels should be considered because maybe you want to jazz up the game a little bit for your pro friend who pwns at Tiny Wings. Wouldn't that be more fun? My last concern is the "Objectives" tab on the main menu page. The Objectives are what you need to complete before you're able to get a new nest which raises your score multiplier. I think the Objectives just isn't right for this type of game; an arcade game of some sort would be the best fit for Objectives to complete.
Overall, I give Tiny Wings a 4/5 stars.
Until next time you Revusters!
